"terroir" has been accepted to the Mosaic Film Festival in Rockford, IL USA for September 18-20, 2020. Written/helmed/produced by Dawn Westlake under her Ron de Cana Prods, Inc. shingle, "terroir" was shot by Pol Carrizo Vilarroig at Westlake's childhood home in Wheaton, IL USA, at the August Hill Winery in Peru, IL, at another vineyard in Vilafranca del Penedes, Catalunya, and in the snowy mountains of Font Romeu, France. Pol also edited and did the significant visual effects.

An original score was composed and Westlake's voice was coached by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs. 4-yr-old actress Lilly Johnson makes her professional debut in "terroir".

"terroir" is about how the mother-child relationship can influence our perceptions of very capable female leaders in all sectors of society.
