"terroir" has been selected to the San Gio Film Festival in Verona, Italy, running July 23-27, 2020. It was just featured in a piece from TGVerona, including an interview with festival director Ugo Brusaporco.

Written/helmed/produced by Dawn Westlake under her Ron de Cana Prods, Inc. shingle, "terroir" is about how the mother-child relationship can sometimes influence our perceptions of very capable female leaders in all sectors of society. GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs provided an original score to convert Westlake's poem into a song. Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona shot/edited in the US, Spain and France, and did the considerable visual effects work.
