"terroir" accepted to Cinemistica Film Festival in Granada!"terroir" has been accepted to Festival Cinemistica in Granada, Spain for November 5-28, 2020. "terroir" is a musical documentary about the mother-child relationship and how it can influence our perceptions of very capable female leaders in all sectors of society. Helmed, written and produced by Dawn Westlake under her Ron de Cana Prods, Inc. shingle, "terroir" was filmed in Wheaton & Peru, IL USA, Font Romeu, France and Vilafranca del Penedes, Spain by Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona. An original score was composed, and Westlake's voice was coached, by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs. 4-year-old actress Lilly Johnson makes her professional debut in "terroir". The film has won 7 awards; 3 in Italy, 2 in India and others in Colombia and North Carolina.
