FROM ON HIGH has won the SPIRITUAL AWARD at the 18th annual Corto Fiction Festival in Chianciano Terme, Italy. This is the 6th award for the film and the 60th award for filmmaker Dawn Westlake of Ron de Cana Productions, Inc. in Los Angeles. FROM ON HIGH was shot on location by Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona in Collsuspina, La Sala de Sant Llogari and Barcelona, Catalunya, Spain in September 2017. In early July 2018, Pol won the BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY award at Carpine d'Argento Film Festival in Visciano, Italy.

FROM ON HIGH marks the professional acting debut of 11-year-olds Zoe Pinell Lopez and Esteve Serra Coll.

An original score was composed for the film by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs. Johnson was a Peer Raben Music Award nominee in 2016 for his 2015 collaboration on Dawn Westlake's film "Through the Pane".
