"From On High" selected to Cinema en Liberte! "From On High" has been selected as the sole representative of the United States in the 7th annual Cinema en Liberte Festival in Toulon, France. The film will be screened on June 17, 2018. Written and helmed by Dawn Westlake, "From On High" is about a Syrian refugee girl who finds a better life in Europe. It was shot/edited in Catalunya by Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona. An original score was provided by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs. Johnson was the 2016 Peer Raben Music Award nominee for his 2015 score for Westlake's short film "Through the Pane".
