CULTURES COLLIDE Community Film Festival Opens March 3

7th Annual Cultures Collide Film Festival
CULTURES COLLIDE Community Film Festival celebrates the efforts of multi-cultural films and local filmmakers, screening short and full length films and an industry panel. CULTURES COLLIDE kicks off on Thursday, March 3 with a Free Community Night screening of For the Next 7 Generations.  This award winning documentary by Carole Hart tells the story of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers from all around the world who come together to help us create a new way of life that will bring the planet back into balance before it's too late. Friday night March 4 features Off the Books and Jazz is Hip Hop and an Industry Panel. On Saturday and Sunday March 5 and March 6 there will be screenings of dynamic shorts by local filmmakers. Also part of the festival, are the nightly Audience Choice selections and the Community Treasure Award presentation. Tickets Friday through Sunday are $10 and show times are 8pm Thursday through Saturday and 3pm Sunday at the South Oxford Space, 138 South Oxford Street, Brooklyn, NY.
