"Coming Home" opened Pechka Film Festival

The International Rural Film Festival "Pechka" (PECHKAfest) took place from August 13 to 16, 2026

Pechka is the first and only film festival in Russia with a thematic focus on the village and rural lifestyle. It takes place in the Russian North, in the village of Shelota in the Vologda Region.

The festival includes competition screenings of feature and documentary films, non-competition screenings, creative meetings with filmmakers, as well as master classes on traditional crafts, performances by musical groups, and other activities that immerse festivalgoers in the atmosphere of a northern village.
