The MOST important item is a pair of comfortable shoes. But what if you're invited to an event and don't have time to go back to your hotel? Carry a bag or backpack with a change of clothes. Foldable flats are also great for women to throw in their purse. For work mode, a power bank to charge your phone on the go may be useful, and don't forget your business cards! As a service to AmPav members, we have cell phone charging stations for your convenience.

Taxis, local buses and good old fashioned walking will get you around town. As for getting to Cannes from the Nice Airport, below are some options:
Bus 210 (Cannes Express)
Bus #210 is right outside of baggage claim and will drop you in downtown Cannes. Departs approximately every 30 minutes. One way is 20€ and roundtrip is 30€. You can then get a taxi to your destination.
Nice Airport Transfers
This is a personal shuttle that will wait for you at the airport and drop you off at your accommodations (1-8 passengers). About 75€ -110€ depending on number of people.
Taxis
Depending on traffic and time of day, this will run you about 75€-100€. Note fares are more expensive from 7pm-7am.

While we certainly recommend the bar and restaurant at AmPav, including complimentary tea & coffee, we know there are times when you want to experience the culinary side of Cannes. Here are a few of our go-to spots.
La Pizza Cresci
Known simply as "La Pizza" to those in the know, their brick oven pizzas are a favorite among Festivalgoers.
La Piazza
Not to be confused with "La Pizza", the must-order dish here is Spaghettis al Nero di Seppie.
Le Factory Cafe
Unfussy, delicious food at a fair price, plus some of the friendliest servers in town.
PhilCat
This little shack on La Pantiero serves up fresh salads, sandwiches and pie for attendees on the go.
Morrison's Irish Pub
