As part of Animation Day, Annecy will offer a 4th Annecy Goes to Cannes, where there will be 5 feature films in progress showcased from 9:30 at the Olympia 1.
The morning session will be complemented with a panel discussion, the A-Z game plan to releasing adult animated films for the big screen, from 11:30 to 13:00 at the Olympia 1. Producers, distributors and international sellers will answer questions such as: from scriptwriting to the film's release, what are the best choices to make? Or: what smart marketing practices help a film's successful release in theatres?

The 3rd Frontières Platform in Cannes gives 13 genre projects a platform to present their works to major industry players.

Co-presented by the Fantasia International Film Festival and the Marché du Film, the Frontières Platform continues today with the Frontières Buyers Showcase at 16:00 in Palais K featuring a first look at 6 films in post-production. Producers will screen their footage for potential buyers, sales agents and festival programmers.
