Once again, Conquistador Entertainment is proud to announce its lineup for
Cannes 2014.
Scott Karol is back on board at Conquistador as its Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and will be operating from the Conquistador Cannes Office located at 4 La Croisette.
Pascal Borno will be operating from the Corsan "Azure Rhapsody"yacht (Jetee Edouard Albert at Vieux Port). Please make an appointment with Odette Tyler (odette@conquistador-ent.com) to see them and discuss all the exciting things at Conquistador.

We are pleased to announce the following titles:
Jennifer Aniston, Sam Worthington, Anna Kendrick, Chris Messina, Felicity Huffman & William H Macy star in "Cake"
"Cake" is based on a Black List script by Patrick Tobin. Aniston will star as an acerbic woman who becomes fascinated by the suicide of another woman in her chronic pain support group. As she uncovers the details of the suicide, she also grapples with her own personal tragedy.
"Cake" is currently filming in Los Angeles.

Tom Holland has signed on to adapt and direct The Ten O'clock People, a feature adaptation of a short story by Stephen King. Holland and King previously collaborated on The Langoliers and Thinner.
The Ten O'clock People comes from a short story published in King's Nightmares and Dreamscapes collection. The story follows Brandon Pearson, who in trying to kick his smoking habit uncovers a frightening aspect of reality that he plans to extinguish through extreme measures. Holland said the tale was inspired by King's own struggles with a smoking habit. "This was Stephen trying to deal with his cigarette jones and the fairly new no-smoking laws back in the '90s," Holland said. "This film will be a modernization of the original short story, a paranoid suspense piece."
The film goes into production this summer.

After a year passes since the sudden death of a child, a family gathering takes place whilst peculiar unexplainable events occur. Tension over peculiar circumstances cracks the veneer of cordiality and dark secrets emerge. Bethany (Sienna Guillory) becomes increasingly unhinged and seems Hell bent on tearing her family apart. Is she possessed or simply playing devil's advocate? With the help of a priest and a psychic the family attempts to restore peace and sanity. But events which occur that night could never have been foreseen. Police psychologist Dr Woods (Eric Roberts) tries to exact fact from fiction of what really took place in the house in this gothic horror morality tale.
