What is Ayka Going To Do?
Ayka, directed by Sergey Dvortsevoy and starring Samal Yeslyamova as the titular character, is described as “Ayka just gave birth. She can't afford to raise a child. She has no job, debts to be paid, not even a room of her own. But there is no way to suppress her natural instincts.” It shows tonight in the Grand Theatre Lumiere at 16:00 as one of the last two entries in the festival.
