"The dead don't die" reviewer thinks they should!

I am a huge fan  of the genre, confess binge watching The Walking Dead, then  Z  Nation... but  was very disappointed watching Jim Jarmusch's latest film. The beginning is very slow..., apocalypse as we know it from other Z movies, takes ages to happen. I was hoping for more creative attempts to renew the genre, the humor falls short or totally out of tune at moments. The ending is extremely flat... It seemed to please the audience, but i am not sure the all the fans will have that understanding.

The Press in cannes, who saw the film after the gala screening, were not really pleased.

PS yes the cast is impeccable, speacial effects seem just fine ...but what happened to the story?.

Funny enough my next gala screening will be TOO OLD TO DIE YOUNG - NORTH OF HOLLYWOOD, WEST OF HELL... by Nicolas Winding Refn. Titles echo somewhat :-)
