Surprise Palme d'Or of honour to John Travolta

Ahead of the world Premiere of his directorial debut John Travolta was awarded a surprise Palme d'or honouring his carreer.

I (Bruno Chatelin, your editor) am understanding and sharing his emotion receiving this honour since I have been involved as the french ditributor of his Look who's Talking film franchise, I remember it was key to putting him back then on top of A listers.

I’ve never been more proud to win an award! To me the Cannes Palme d’Or award has always represented art at its finest. It is beyond a humbling experience.
