Meet the Germans inCannes...at the German PavilionThe Cannes International Film Festival is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. German Films and FOCUS Germany will be presenting their services together in the "German Pavilion". The meeting point in the "International Village" of the "Marché du Film" is a popular destination for all accredited industry delegates during the festival. Situated right by the beach and next to the Festival Palais, the German Pavilion is a great place for a short stop-over for a coffee or a refreshment. On the pavilion's terrace you can sit and study the trades in peace or have meetings with business partners from home and abroad. And sometimes your gaze will fall on the blue sea and the lively goings-on on the Croisette. German Films and FOCUS Germany, the grouping of the seven large regional film funds, have been organizing the "German Pavilion" now for the past seven years. The following institutions are represented at the "German Pavilion": FilmFernsehFonds Bayern, FilmFoerderung Hamburg, Filmstiftung NRW, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, MFG Baden-Wuerttemberg, Mitteldeutsche Medienfoerderung and nordmedia Fonds Niedersachsen Bremen; the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM), the German Federal Film Board (FFA) and German Films Service + Marketing GmbH. 05.05.2007 | Cannes's blog Cat. : Berlin Brandenburg cannes CDATA Culture Fonds german German Pavilion Hamburg International Village Marketing GmbH Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg MFG Baden-Wuerttemberg the Cannes FILM
