Cannes Film Festival: 15 Films for Vuelta
Vuelta, founded three years ago by Jérôme Levy and David Atlan-Jackson, is gearing up for its third Cannes Film Festival.

This year, Vuelta will be in Cannes with 15 films presented across all the different sections, from the Opening Ceremony and the Official Competition, to Un Certain Regard, Cannes Premières, and Cannes Classics, as well as the Midnight Screenings, Critics’ Week, and the Directors’ Fortnight.
This overview offers a true reflection of the model successfully championed by Vuelta: that of an independent European studio—Vuelta is present in 11 countries—bringing together Playtime, Pan, Films Boutique, BeForFilms, Global Constellation, Scanbox, WW Entertainment, Indiana, Piper Film, and Vuelta Germany—with diverse and complementary activities and expertise: distribution—in France, Germany, Italy, the Benelux region, and Scandinavia—production, international sales… Each year, Vuelta supports over 100 distributed films, around fifteen produced films, and a catalog of more than 2,600 titles.
This presence in Cannes, through its scale and eclecticism, also perfectly illustrates Vuelta’s ambition: to circulate works—all works—far beyond their natural borders, connect markets, and provide European talent with unprecedented opportunities for exposure, through a federative model where each entity retains its local roots and editorial vision, while drawing on a shared ecosystem capable of amplifying the reach of films, from production to international distribution.
