The Urban Film Festival (UFF) is a three-day event focusing on education, exposure, and providing distribution opportunities for generations of filmmakers by connecting them with industry professionals, equipping them with the skills and tools they need through hands-on workshops and panels.

As we prepare for the 2020 Urban Film Festival we recognize that a change in course must occur given the unprecedented circumstances we are facing with COVID-19. UFF is establishing social distancing parameters in order to keep the show going safely for all guests, in addition to adding a live streaming component for guests and filmmakers who are unable to attend the festival.

Submission Deadlines:
Juneteenth Regular Deadlines: June 19, 2020
Better Late Than Never Deadline: July 10, 2020
Notification Date: July 31, 2020

Urban Film Festival would love your help in driving awareness about our festival to other filmmakers by leaving a comment on Film Freeway about your part in the Urban Film Festival experience.
