The SECRET BOOK OF WIFE FINDING screened at EFM with success

XVIII Entertainment, LLC; Executive Director John (JJ) Rogers in association with Shari Hamrick at Alianza Films International announce the China/USA/Vietnam/Canada Co-Production of “The Secret Book of Wife Finding”, written by Jeffrey Tipton, a U.S. stand-up comedian.

Bruno Wu, is backing the project and will acquire Chinese distribution rights, to be handled by his company Content Media Group.

Dustin Nguyen, star and director of Lionsgate's "Once Upon A Time in Vietnam", will produce through his Dreamscape DBS Company, in association with Shari Hamrick, Jeffrey Tipton, and Quintin Lee.

The Producers are currenlty out to talent.  Patrick Frater, Asia Bureau Chief from Variety caught up with Bruno Wu about his upcoming comedy in an exclusive interview.  Wu tells Patrick Frater, "I'm excited to work with a stellar cross-cultural filmmaking team.  And more importantly, this is the first China-Vietnam-U.S. Co-Production of its kind", said Wu, who also heads the Sun Seven Stars Entertainment and Media Group.

The project is in the vein of “The Hangover” meets “Lost in Thailand”; SBWF will capture the worldwide English speaking Asian market in the same way – one billion people – and will ultimately appeal to all comedy lovers around the globe. The Harold and Kumar series, one of the few US comedies with Asian leads, grossed over 100 million. Psy’s Gangnam Style video has surpassed two billion views on YouTube – mostly English speaking Asians.
