Meet the Berlinale 2022 JuriesCompetition The International Jury Once again a multitalented International Jury will decide who will take home the Golden and the Silver Bears at the Berlinale 2022. The other members of the International Jury are: Karim Aïnouz (Brazil / Algeria), Anne Zohra Berrached (Germany), Saïd Ben Saïd (France / Tunisia), Tsitsi Dangarembga (Zimbabwe), Ryûsuke Hamaguchi (Japan), and Connie Nielsen (Denmark / USA). M. Night Shyamalan (South Asia / USA) will serve as president of the International Jury. More about the International Jury

In total, 18 directorial feature film debuts from the sections Competition, Encounters, Panorama, Forum, Generation and Perspektive Deutsches Kino are nominated for the GWFF Best First Feature Award.A three-person jury will decide on the award: Gaia Furrer (Italy), Vimukthi Jayasundara (Sri Lanka) and Shahrbanoo Sadat (Afghanistan). The opening films of the Generation 14plus and Kplus competitions have been decided, the members of the two International Juries, the Children’s and Youth Jury and the independent Cinema Vision 14plus Jury have been appointed. And again this year: the Berlinale school project and a Cross Section screening that grant the young audience access to other sections of the festival.
