International Forum of New Cinema gives Inertia International Premiere

Claudia Landsberger, Baseworx For Film and Timothy O'Brien, Oration Films are proud to be partnering to represent Idan Haguel's first feature Inertia in the Berlinale Forum. Taking place by the shores of the Mediterranean, Inertia is a deadpan surrealist and blackly comic examination of a woman's identity crisis - utterly modern yet timeless in it's exploration of the impact of dreams and desires. 

Synopsis:

Mira is a woman trapped in a dull life - alienated yet unable to envisage any improvement in her circumstances. One morning she wakes up screaming after a nightmare where her husband is gone. He's already left the apartment but he never comes back. When she comes to terms with his mysterious and seemingly permanent disappearance, she experiences the possibility of a new life with the exhilaration, and also guilt, that this entails.
