Gábor Bódy was probably the first to express (in the seventies) that the main challenge to the film maker is to eliberate the medium cinema from the terrain of industrial happining. But what is beyond cinema? - the astonishing richness of „total cinema". Hungarian film supplies many instances for such cinematographic border cases.

The exhibition of Collegium Hungaricum Berlin's Moholy-Nagy Gallery presents an installation from sequences of films by Bódy, Huszárik / János Tóth, Jeles, Kardos, Szaladják, Szemz and Pálfi.

Afterwards reception of CHB and Magyar Filmunió (Hungarian Film Union) by the occasion of the Berlinale.
