Haus of Blockchain is launching at Berlinale February 21st to 25th

Haus of Blockchain, an informative event bringing together the Film Industry and the Tech World is launching at Berlinale

“Haus of Blockchain” opens during Berlinale 2020 a discussion about the  impact of the blockchain on the film industry.

Haus of Blockchain brings together the leading minds of the international film-startup and tech scenes. Under the motto of blockchain x film, the meets-conference format braids together unexpected connections between the film scene and the knowledge of the speakers hailing from diverse areas of expertise in technology, law and entertainment.

Between February 21st and 25th, four speakers are invited and more than 100 participants are expected. The Cinemarket office at Berlin Kreuzberg, a few minutes by foot from the Martin Gropius Bau, is hosting the event.

Three Breakfast Talks and Debates revolve around the topic: How Blockchain is changing the film industry. The event will show where the industry stands with the global developments in blockchain and entertainment, which legal issues the Tv and Cinema industries are facing and a discussion of the question: “Technological Disruption vs. Sustainable Evolution for the industry?” will be held.

“We want to make our worldwide network of tech and blockchain experts available to the film scene and share our knowledge. In this way, everyone will be empowered to take advantage of the new possibilities that are arising.” says Adrian Lugol, CEO, Cinemarket.

In the future, Haus of Blockchain is to be held at various film festivals in order to facilitate sustainable communication between the film and tech worlds. The next       event is already being planned for Cannes 2020.

On 21th, 24th and 25th february 2020 at the Berlin Office from Cinemarket. The Programme is as follows:

Co-founder of the Legal Tech Center, President of the Blockchain Federal Association) “Technological Disruption vs. Sustainable Evolution - Navigating the Digital Transformation in Film Distribution”.
  • Monday February 24th, 2020, from 9.30am-10.30am “Breakfast Discussion”: Dr. Patrice Poujol (Founder and CEO of Lumiere and Former ACIM Lab Senior Research Fellow, City University of Hong Kong.), Manuel Badel (Founder and President of Badel Media (Montreal, Canada) “Blockchain and Entertainment: Global Developments.”
