ZHANG Lu is a third-generation ethnic Korean born in Yanbian, Jilin, China in 1962. ZHANG Lu began his career with making Chinese films. His debut feature film Tang Poetry (2003) was premiered at Locarno Film Festival, and his second feature Grain in Ear (2005) won ACID award at Cannes Critics’ Week and the New Currents Award at Busan International Film Festival. Desert Dream (2007) and Dooman River (2011) were selected to Berlin International Film Festival. After teaching in Seoul, he began working with Korean A-listers. Gyeongju (2014) was in Competition at Locarno Film Festival. His two latest films, A Quiet Dream and Ode to the Goose were both screened at Busan International Film Festival.

ZHU Xin, born in June, 1996, graduated from China Academy of Art in 2018, and majored in Film, TV, and Advertisement. His debut feature, Vanishing Days, was selected to Berlinale Forum, Busan International Film Festival New Currents, and the competition section of Marrakech International Film Festival. He is preparing for his second feature, Who is Sleeping on My Pillow, which is selected by Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum 2019.
