HAPPY NEW YEAR Everyone,

Thank you all again for your support as we embark on the very first iteration of Virtual BIFF! It can be overwhelming to learn so many new things so here is a guide to help you get ready. The festival begins on January 4th and runs through the 10th. 

The first thing you will do is go to https://filmocracy.com/register and create an account using the email you provided to Leslie as your contact email. Once you login, you will instantly have access to the festival on your "My Events" row on your dashboard. Alternatively you can go directly to the festival page here (festival.filmocracy.com/bahamas)

Panels and Q&A's

If you're participating in a panel or Q&A, you will be going to either the Luna Rum Tower (Q&A's) or the West End Pavilion (Panels). You can get to these buildings either by clicking on them from the BIFF Map, OR directly using one of the below links.

As with anything technical, it's always good to make sure our systems are working prior to needing them. That's why we're inviting you to attend the Bahamas International Film Festival Filmmaker Retreat.

When: Sunday, Jan 3rd 10am - 4pm EST and you do not have stay the entire time.

Make sure you - are on your desktop and laptop computers for best experience. A mobile device or tablet will not work. Alternatively you can actually click on the links to any of the above buildings (Luna Rum Tower, Westend Pavilion, or Schweppes) and do a system check yourself. All you have to do is create an account and click through the system check. Please note that this is a separate registration from the primary website https://filmocracy.com where you will still need to create an account to access all of the films and other festival events via the map.
