2007 NEW YORK TELEVISION FESTIVAL
By Maria Esteves - September 17, 2007 The Third Annual New York Television Festival (NYTVF) 2007, was held at New World Stages theater, September 5-9, 2007. NYTVF annually presents independent television pilot competition, television network (ABC, FOX, NBC) premieres, panel discussions, seminars, special events, parties, and awards ceremony. Artists, industry executives, producers, actors, and musicians attend the festival. 2007 NYTVF ABC Television Network premiere screening PUSHING DAISIES, directed by Barry Sonnenfeld was held at New World Stages Theater, Saturday, September 8, 8:00pm. PUSHING DAISIES is a magical comedy drama about a man named Ned (Lee Pace) who was born with a very special gift. Ned, pie maker owner of "The Pie Hole" has the ability to make the dead return to life and vice versa by just a touch. The show is scheduled to air Wednesday, October 3, 8:00pm.
