Selected films will be showcased at the Festival on September 14 and 15. 2017. Awards will be presented for outstanding achievements by the official selections. There are no cash awards.

The official online entry form for the Autumn Shorts Film Festival can be found at Google Documents. All submissions will be accepted through the form linked below.

A Downloadable Link: A link to a downloadable version of your film on such sites as Vimeo is a common mode of submission. We can also accept submissions via Dropbox and Wetransfer. NOTE: We must have the film file itself before your submission is complete. We cannot do initial screening from links to web players such as Youtube. We will not download files from Youtube or any other site via third party applications.

When transferring via Wetransfer list Steve.Cleberg@kctcs.edu as “friend.”

Submissions must be no longer than 15 minutes in length.

Submissions must be digital files in their final, viewing condition. Preferably in 1080p resolution, H.264 codec in a mp4 wrapper.

INTERNATIONAL FILMS: All films not rendered in the English language are required to include English subtitles that are embedded into the rendered file.

It is unlikely that submissions which contain graphic sexual or violent images and/or gratuitous profanity will be selected as official entries. Beyond this, we encourage flights of imagination and original artistry. We feel that the short film is an excellent vehicle for such experimentation and exploration.

Did I mention that there’s no submission fee?
