24 Hour Short Film

My five seconds of fame came and went in a millisecond. While checking my email in the British Pavilion, I ran into Paul Wiffen, a member of the 24 Hour Film Challenge. Simone and I were recruited to be actresses in this challenge which aims to complete a short film in 24 hours or less. The 24 hour period includes writing a script, filming and editing. Our time began on May 20, 2006 at 1:00pm. As we were getting the script prepared, we were given some devastating news, the camera man backed out! So, from about 2:00pm until 5:00pm we searched and begged for a cameraman. Any innocent bystander with a camera-in-hand was subject to our begging and pleading. In the end, fate handed us a harsh blow and we were unable to do the project. However, it was a fun journey that I hope we are able to complete the challenge next year.
