Francophonie Film Festival Opening Ceremony 2010.03.04

This is it : the francophone film festival is started! And what a start!

The opening ceremony was held at the Beijing Canadian International School, where are going to be hold half of the screenings, in the company of more than 250 guests, embassadors and delegates from many regions of the francophonie.

The ceremony started with a cocktail organised by Comptoir de France
and DCT Wines treated the guests with their delicious wine. Following was held the screening of the Belgium animation film "Panic in Town".

The Belgium directors, Vincent Patar and Stéphane Aubier were delighted to present their newly released animation film "Panic in Town" to the Beijing audience. The film received a very warm welcome in which Cowboy and Indian try to celebrate their pal's birthday, Horse, but every time it ends up in a catratrophe. The film shows the adventures of the three friends who try to fix up everything, leading them to an underground world or an ice field. A very funny crazy story, to enjoy at all age.

And this is only the beginning of a whole month of festivities, so beware!
