AFFR October 5-9 2011
We would like to invite filmmakers and producers to send in their film for the AFFR 2011 filmfestival about architecture and city culture.

The festival is open to films, documentaries and shorts about city culture and architecture in the broadest possible sense. The AFFR will include new films but also thematic films about for instance urban renewal, mobility, civil participation in city planning and animations and architectural representation.

Requirements/deadline
The AFFR has no entry fee for submitting films and we do not demand very special requirements, but premiere films are highly appreciated at our festival!

The deadline for film entries is June 1, 2011. The organisation will let you know if the film is selected before August 1, 2011.

The editors select the films with the following criteria in mind:
- a good cinematographic quality
- a high critical or topical value
- a good fit in our AFFR programming.
- or.. simply a groovy movie.

In case the film is selected, we will contact you about the following course for fee, transport and a possible visit to Rotterdam. If the film is not selected, we will let you know before August 1, 2011.

Screening is from 6-9 October 2011 with a possible rerun AND a possible sneak preview before October 6.

Necessary material

An entry consists of:
- the filled in Film Entry Form here
- a sent DVD or online preview
- hires stills and creditlist for possible early press reviews; analogue or digital.

For films that are still in production, please note when the material will become available. Previews and hi-res material is increasingly important for both the selection of the film and for further press handling, reviews and public attention.
