A Promise to Abraham

From Genesis, Chapter 18

Three angels made a promise

There, near the Mamvrey oaks.

So Abraham went home, first,

To mourn his earthly yoke.

And Angels told him, so,

"Soon you wii have a son.

The seed, out, to be sown".

So Abraham was one

To hear the prediction.

And Sarah went along...

Celestial convictions

Are easy like a song!

Three measures of the flour,

And calves, and buttered milk...

It took so, just an hour.

A curtain fell, of silk.

And so ate the angels,

The yeast was out of bread.

The secret got dismantled,

"Wait for the heir, we said!"
