My poetic films of the silver age - Slavonic symbolism
Dear festival owners, my colleagues by genre and masters of artistic spaces-and-spots.
I create and release films of the European symbolism and, namely, of modernism of the East Europe. Among my protagonists, there are Mandelstam, Blok, Tsvetaeva, Sologoub; Gippius, Poplavsky, Gazdanov, Beliy, Georgy IvAnov, Vyach. IvAnov, Khodasevitch, Mayakovsky, etc. I traveled their spots in European Russia, the Ukraine, Georgia, France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Magrib. I created feature screen plots of them and of their writings. I know where their works and lectures were exposed to audiences in the Western Europe.
I have created dozens of poetic shorts of them which comprise a genre novelty yet. Docs, animated experimentals and lyric subjects are among my genres. These bios are yet undisclosed, unknown, remote, undiscovered for us. I may think up details, but I am devoted to their precise, vivid, bright stylistics.
I offer my lyric films for festivals. I am pleased to meet new audiences, to encounter new contours of critical opinions, to acquire new views at my stylistics and genres. My themes are long-resounding and meant to sojourn in human hearts. A smaller part of my plots is represented in the net.
I am laureate of NYC, Bari, Paris, Moscow, Valetta, Basel, with my screen plits, media articles, lyric volumes, all of my authorship.
I am honored to participate not only at contests, but also at free programs and thematic demonstrations. I ask no entrance fees from my viewers, but festival owners may charge what they prefer to. I may also freely offer several copies of my English and Russian poetic books from each circulation, at/while each session/workshop/screening/report/forword.
