Jacob Fights the Angel: the False Victory of Both***

Jacob had been fighting the Angel,

Until was lit, the dawn complete.

The Angel wounded Jacob's thigh, as of a stranger.

But Jacob, for blessing, did plead.

The Angel called Jacob, Israel,

And said he would fight God

And overwhelm people, but all in miseries.

So it would be on the sod.

Jacob asked for the Angel's name,

But Angel just blessed him, instead.

Jacob called the place, Penuel, and went looking for fame.

Jacob said he had seen God, and started to tread

The earth, with his soul alive.

And he started, for winning humans, to strive.
