The Animaze Festival invites the media to their annual press conference TODAY at 11am at ESMA - Excentris for the launch of the 2019 edition of the festival which will take place from August 29th to September 1st.

During this press conference, Ms. Laurie Gordon will unveil the festival's programming as well as the names of special guests and jury members. Animaze will also unveil its official poster 2019.

Animaze has two locations for animation shows day and night. One, in the open air, in the Parc des Amériques, on the corner of Boulevard Saint Laurent and Rachel and the other at the Excentris, which will soon become ESMA headquarters, École Supérieure des Métiers Artistiques.

Animaze will present its programming of more than 150 animated films having benefited from an international visibility. More than 30 countries will be represented at this international festival in partnership with the Animix Tel Aviv Animation Festival and the Moscow International Film Festival.

All outdoor screenings are free and we rely on donations as a non-profit organization.

Glitch by Bijiao Liu, a serie of films where animation meets artificial intelligence.

Ibex Puppetry, animated shorts produced by Heather Henson, daughter of Jim Henson.
