CALL FOR ENTRY TO SHORT FILMS COMPETITION

•          Architecture Film Festival Santiago de Chile 2012 will regarding audiovisual productions of issues about the city and the urban environment for an International competition

Santiago, December 27, 2011 .-“Film will give us a narrative while Architecture will provide a context” is the phrase that resumes the objective of the First Architecture-Film Festival to be held in October 2012 in Santiago de Chile.

Architecture Film Festival Santiago is the first meeting of its kind to be held in Chile and South America, collecting the best documentary and fiction films.   Chile will be part of the Architecture Film Festivals scene that includes different cities in Europe, USA, and Asia today. 

In this context, ARQFILMFEST,  invites  filmmakers from different countries to participate in the Competition “The City is…”, and submit short films of 30 minutes length max.  that have been made ​​between January 2009 and July 31, 2012  in genres of Fiction, Documentary, Animation and Experimental Films.

All the productions made by participants over 18 years old, of any nationality and country, that meet the technical standards stipulated in the competition guidelines published in the page “Submit a Film” on the webwww.arqfilmfest.cl can send a film.

The jury will select the winners from the following categories: Best International Fiction, Best International Documentary, Best International Animation, Best International Experimental, all of which will be exhibited during the festival.

Audiovisual works made prior to the date requested, may be included in the exhibition out of competition.
