Houston Cinema Arts Festival OverviewHouston Cinema Arts Society was proud to present the Houston Cinema Arts Festival, November 6-10, 2013. This five-day festival of over 50 films about the visual, performing, and literary arts also featured Meet the Makers workshops, video art installations, live performances, art exhibits, and more. With venues in several locations throughout the city accessible by Metro Rail, over 5000 attendees had exciting opportunities to immerse themselves in the arts and get the inside perspective from such notables as Pulitzer Prize winning playwright and star of HOMELAND, Tracy Letts, Thomas Haden Church, Will Forte, Barbara Hammer, Jonas Mekas, Ron Yerxa, and others.
