The Women’s Film Festival, held each March in the funky, eclectic town of Brattleboro, Vermont is the longest-running women’s film festival in New England and one of the oldest in the world devoted to films by and about women. We have more films, visiting directors and special events in 2011 to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. Our audience loves entertaining and illuminating films that raise awareness of the struggles, accomplishments and creativity of women around the corner and around the globe. We are unique in that we are 100% volunteer run and all proceeds benefit the Women's Freedom Center which helps women and children escape violent situations and create better lives.
