The Hollywood Divine International Film Festival is dedicated to enriching the community and bridging cultures through the spirituality, education and promotion of the arts through independent film.
We, at Hollywood Divine, with the help of our heavenly father, want to make a big change and we are hoping you can help us with that.
There are many Christian artists out there looking for an outlet to spread the light of God through their God given gift of artistry. There are also many Christian people out there looking to appreciate art that celebrates their relationship with Christ.
We at Hollywood Divine want to be the catalyst for that change. A change that will, at least, balance out the darkness spread by mainstream Hollywood and the music industry, and give independent Christian filmmakers and musicians the chance to build their ministries by displaying their art to the world.
We believe that creating art, in any form, is a reflection of the ultimate creator. It’s one of the best ways to praise God and share his infinite love with the world. We ask you to please consider joining us on this journey.
Lorena Lourenco, whose film Pedagogy showed last year in Cannes at the Short Film Conrner, grew up in Rio de Janeiro and moved to Los Angeles to attend USC's School of Cinematic Arts. It all comes down to responsibility. If you're doing something you honestly intend to help your client, you're not engaging in boondogglery. If you're doing something for your own personal gratification at the expense of your client, you are.
