The movie is based upon Suzanne Collins' trilogy of books.
Led by rising movie stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Australia's Liam Hemsworth, the flick is about a...
Bladerunner at Fantasporto, 2012
What better film to be honored at a 'Fantastic' film festival than the classic Sci-Fi film Bladerunner (1982)! At the 32nd International Film Festival of Porto (Fantasporto) the film was screened as an homage to cinemas of the future. Directed by Ridley Scott, the canonical film was based on the novel by Sci-Fi writer Philip K. Dick called: "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" about a time in the future where androids (who look like h...

What if you woke up with amnesia? What if you had no recollection of who you were in the past? What if you had to look deep within to find the answer to life's biggest question, "Who am I"? Using science, geometry, nature and spirituality, 3 Magic Words examines this question as it is explored further by metaphysical experts. These guests range from best-selling new-age authors to spiritual leaders, and even children. The guests include; Neale Donald Walsch, Ishmael Tetteh, Gudni Gudnason, Debbie Ford, Gary Renard, Nassim Haramein, Dr. Zhi Gang Sha and many more. 3 Magic Words reveals an ancient wisdom about the energetic connection that humans have with all matter on the Earth and in the entire universe. The scientific point of view assumes that this energy is simply just energy without any intelligence whatsoever. The spiritual point of view is that all energy is imprinted with consciousness. The movie takes you on a magical trip into consciousness at both the micro-cosmic and macro-cosmic levels as it taps you into a communion with the very fabric of the energy within all things. The movie shows you how to tap into your subconscious mind and use it to become an active co-creator in your life.

Richard is sick of his life. He embarks on an inner journey, with the aid of very special guides. Looking for the serenity and joy he underwent at some moments of his life, this trip takes him into meditation on the different stages of his life, and the different degrees of self-knowledge experienced during infancy, childhood and his youth. When did the sensations of calm and joy left to let alienation and anguish arise? Ricardo will discover himself as part of the Cosmos, all he needs to be OK is already inside him. Clean is good.

When it rains it pours and that’s exactly what it’s doing right now, literally and figuratively. While I have no business complaining about weather because the rest of the country is neck deep in a winter from hell, I’m none too happy with the impending forecast for next Saturday’s outdoor event, especially as a press person. Standing the line is less than fun on the best days, let alone in the rain. That being said, if I have to, there is no other event I’d rather be doing it for...

With a reputation as being Scandinavia's largest festival devoted to fantasy films, the 16th Fantastisk Filmfestival (23 September to 2 October,2010) in Lund, a lovely University city in the south of Sweden, was a notable success, and a memorable discovery for myself, as a first-footing member of the International Jury alongside my colleague from London, the noted Gothophile Kim Newman and the lively Finno-Swedish critic Andrea Reuter. The historic venue- a sort of Swedish Oxford that appare...

We went to see the new play written and produced by Ray Bradbury it has been many years since the play was first conceived for his friends Charles Laughton and Elsa Lanchester. We were very lucky and Ray was at the theatre to introduce the play. (video attached below)
Times have changed, but people are still the same. We all grow up, the lucky ones fall in love and get old. It is a simple story and the reason Ray calls it Wisdom 2116 is to denote that...
