Five Traffic Wardens who are University Students and migrants are determined to prove to the public that there is more to them than their big bums and issuing parking tickets.
Being a Migrant worker and student with an accent in the UK is a big problem for Chris and his colleagues and they embark on a mission to uplift the image of traffic wardens and are determined to go extra miles. Albeit the daily difficulties inherent in being a traffic warden, Chris, Emeka, Sanjay, Everton, Heather, Colin and Lucy utilize all their skills to show the public that their temporary career path do not define who they are and that whenever people see them, they should not get scared that they will be fined for not packing properly rather; they should be ready to be entertained by their wits and dancing capabilities.
Their quest to help change the views of the public about traffic wardens and gain acceptability is dealt a heavy blow when Colin falls in love with a fellow student (Jade). In his “never say never” attitude, Colin decides to sing to her about his undying love in front of the whole class and in turn, makes himself and his colleagues a laughing stock.

The 1st Bio:Fiction Science, Art & Filmfestival aims at attracting public awareness to synthetic biology and its ramifications for our daily life in the future. Synthetic biology is the design and construction of new biological systems not found in nature. Synthetic biology aims at creating new forms of life for practical purposes. By applying engineering principles to biology scientists will be able to design life forms much different from breeding or traditional genetic engineering. We want to encourage filmmakers to share their cinematic visions of a present or future society shaped by synthetic biology. What is your view on a world living with synthetic life forms? Your approach is up to you - the filmmaker, scientists or artist - the entries can be on science, fiction, or science fiction. We welcome regular short film, animation or documentary film. The main criteria is that synthetic biology has to be reflected somehow in the work, but how you do it is up to you. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Bio:Fiction Award – Short Fiction Bio:Fiction Award – Documentary Film Bio:Fiction Award - Animation Online-Audience Award Special Award of the Jury (the prize money in each category will be announced soon) On http://www.bio-fiction.com you will find more useful and inspiring information on synthetic biology, the entry form and the regulations of the filmfestival. The nominated films will be presented in public at the festival event in Vienna, Austria, in May 2011. Finally, a Bio:Fiction Award ceremony will build the highlight of the festival. The deadline for film entries is the 15th of July 2010 There is no entry fee for submitting films. http://www.bio-fiction.com Best wishes, the Bio:Fiction team Markus Schmidt Albert Beckmann Camillo Meinhart

Scinema is Australia`s first Science Film and Multi-media Festival. It explores the interface of science and art through film. Scinema is the first science festival in the world to include a multi-media component and a student category.
We resolved, for this new-four years mandate of the Cinema Section of La Biennale (for this 65th Venice Mostra), to stop, once and for all, looking at the cinema as if it were an infallible compass. No longer did we want to ask the cinema to rescue us from a problematic, ambivalent, ambiguous present: it was up to us, instead, to stay in there, not to pass over the new problems (artistic and beyond) that are being posed by the age in which we have to live. An age characterized by an evershifting...

But he is indeed on a quest to find God, or at least define Him/Her/It with his latest project, THE INVOCATION. Itier screened a seven-minute trailer of the film, which includes contribu...
