Why the Palm Beach Women's International Film Festival counts!
You don't need Windex to see the glass ceilin at Pixar films, as director Brenda Chapman just learned! Walt Disney Studios confirmed recently that Brenda Chapman--hailed as the first woman to direct an animated film "Brave" for Pixar films has been replaced by a male director. Neither studio gave a reason for this change but Pixar has been criticized in the past for the lack of women behind the camera.
