NEW YORK AIDS FILM FESTIVAL & MUSEUM DOCUMENTARY FILM "TRAVIS" PHOTO COVERAGE

The New York AIDS Film Festival & Museum (NYAFFM) tribute to African and American Grandmothers was held at the Gay Men Health Center (GMHC), on National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, Thursday, February 7, 2008, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Presented by NYAFFM, GMHC, & Abbott Laboratories "I Stand With Magic" Campaign. Hosted by R&B singer, Cassie, and Former First Daughter of Nigeria Yomi Abiola. The cocktail reception preceded The Independent Television Service (ITVS) pediatric AIDS documentary film TRAVIS, directed by Richard Kotuk. Attendees included industry professionals, actors, artists, fashion designers, models, musicians and celebrity guests.
I Stand With Magic, partnership with Abbott Laboratories and The Magic Johnson Foundation is a campaign to end Black HIV/AIDS providing communities with information on available treatments, resources for prevention and testing, and educational materials.
