The Italian director and screenwriter
Luca Guadagnino will be honoured with the renowned
A Tribute to... Award at the
18th Zurich Film Festival.
With the global success of CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, which received four Oscar nominations, Luca Guadagnino has become one of the most sought-after directors. After presenting the film in person a couple years ago, he returns to the Zurich Film Festival with his latest project BONES AND ALL - in which he again collaborated with Timothée Chalamet. During the film's Gala Premiere on September 30th, he will accept the honorary award.
“Receiving this award is a great honor. The Zurich Film Festival has held a special place for me since premiering CALL ME BY YOUR NAME there in 2017. I’m so happy to return to the festival with BONES AND ALL" - Luca Guadagnino.
The following day, on October 1st, he will provide insights into the mistery of his unique cinematic language and diverse work during a public ZFF Masters. Get your INDUSTRY Accreditation to join his Masters.
