Los Cabos International Film Festival announces the names of the films chosen to form part of the Cabos in Progress and Cabos Discovery platforms. The 2015 selection is wide-ranging in terms of themes, visions, styles and stories, but homogeneous and consistent with regard to the quality of the participating projects.
For the third year running, the Festival will present Cabos in Progress for films in the post-production stage, made in or coproduced with Mexico.
The Festival ensures that, for the chosen projects, the experience of competing in our fourth edition extends beyond the traditional benefits reaped by works in progress in such competitions – besides being shown to the programmers of the main international festivals, and to sales agents and leading distributors, all the projects are candidates for inclusion in Los Cabos Goes to Cannes to show their films at the most important film market in the world, in addition to the total value of the prizes awarded by Los Cabos Film Festival: USD 214,000.
