Gianfranco Rossi Opens 19th Auteur Film Festival

Italian film director Gianfranco Rossi , this year's winner of the Golden Lion Awards for the best film of the Venice Film Festival  Sacro Graal (Holly Grail) will open the 28th November 19 Auteur Film Festival in Belgrade, Serbia. Gianfranco Rossi explores Rome's Grande A the biggest urban highway in Italy in this intriguing documentary. According to this author, for him it doesn’t’ really matters weather the film is documentary or feature . The road around Rome is the most urban highway in Italy and hides intriguing concept for a good documentary. The Sacro Graal, or Holy Grail keeps on with the Rossi’s style: there are no explanations and no interactions with the camera and Sacro Graal ends without any conclusions. This is the first documentary film to win the top prize at the Venice festival 's history , and the first Italian film festival winner after 15 years. Gianfranco Rossi graduate of the Film School at New York University. He works as a film director, director of photography, producer and screenwriter.

However, this year the main program of 19^th Author Film Festival is led by the winners of the Berlin and Venice Film Festival - Romanian film Child's Pose by Calin Peter and of course already mentioned Sacro Graal or Holy Grail by Rossi.
