Festival presentation:

Festival Film Dokumenter (FFD) (Yogyakarta Documentary Film Festival) is a specific film festival play which invites the audience and visitors to know more about documentary genre. FFD held regularly every year in the second week of December since 2002. FFD also the oldest documentary film festival in South East Asia. Here, FFD are manage voluntary by youth people from local universities. All of FFD programs are open for public and free of charge.

There are several programs in our festival, which are; Perspective (Thematic) Screenings, Spectrum Screenings, National Competitions, Masterclass, Discussion.

This year, 2015, we gladly offer film submission from all countries to screen at our festival.

International Submissions Rules & Guidelines (2013):

There are no special requirements about the duration.
The film must be produced at least on 2013 and at least never been screen in South East Asia regions.
The film must be contains english subtitle.
We accept only 2 (two) screen copy formats: DVD-PAL / Blu-Ray (Hardcopy) or Full-HD [1080p] .mp4 / .mov (Softcopy)
Film shipping become filmmakers responsibility, unless there is a certain agreement with the festival organizer.
We didn't provide screenings fee since all of our programs are free of charges. We only pay the return shipping if there's any.
Once we accept the film, we will contact the filmmakers regarding the film status.
Films must be deliver to our address, which you can find it on this pages (below) or at our official websites.
All films must be provided with documents contains of: technical film's data, synopsis (100 words, max), visual material (screenshot or film poster/images), director's profile, link about film or trailer/teaser.
