JewFest Cornelia 2013 premiere of Flamenco Sepharad with the Gerard Edery Trio was held at Cornelia Street Café, New York, Saturday, January 19, 2013, 6:00PM. JewFest Cornelia presented by Cornelia Street Café celebrates the Jewish cultural experience with live music performances and slide show presentations from cantorial music to folk songs to the Sephardic and Andalusian world to classic Broadway show tunes composed by George Gershwin, Stephen Sondheim, and many others.
Flamenco Sepharad musical performance of the Sephardic and Andalusian world by master Sephardic recording artist singer/guitarist Gerard Edery, violinist Meg Okura and bass/cajon player Sean Kupisz was par excellence! The musical experience of ancient, mystical, and romantic songs transport you back in time.
