About the Director:

Born in Düzce, in 1985. After finishing Duzce Anatolian High School, he studied Mechanical Engineering in Yildiz Technical University. During his university years, his interest in cinema has started. In 2010 he shot a documentary named “We Follow The Sun” about his Iran trip, which was around 13.000kms in total, all done by hitchhiking; post-production process is still ongoing for the documentary. In 2011 he got an education on cinema for 4 months, then shot his first experimental movie named “Monotoni”.

"Monotoni" explains itself with Maurice Ravel's Bolero. Most people have a monoton life. You can use different instruments(aspects) to make your life more excited; but without adding different colours(tons), still that monotonia will be unavoidable.
