Grossmann Festival Wine Champion 2012: This Year Open to International Entries!

Dear winemakers! It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the 8th Grossmann International Fantastic Film and Wine Festival in Ljutomer, Slovenia, which will take place from the 16th to the 21st of July.
This year, for the first time ever, our Vicious Cat Wine Champion competition is open to international entries. All winemakers who wish to participate in this prestigious competition are welcome to submit their wine samples until (including) the 1st of June 2012.
All submitted samples will be evaluated by an expert international panel at this year's Wine Salon Jeruzalem, taking place on the 9th of June in Jeruzalem, Slovenia. The four samples that receive the highest grades will enter the Vicious Cat Wine Champion competition at this year's Grossmann. The best wine of Grossmann 2012 will be chosen by our distinguished film guests at special wine tastings, giving the winner a special touch of film glamour.
The wine tastings at the festival will be organized by the Kelih (Chalice) Cultural and Educational Society. The Vicious Cat Wine Champion will be announced at the closing ceremony of Grossmann festival.
This year, festival’s wine program will once again include events that have been proven very successful: guided wine tastings for festival guests, visits of wine cellars, Salon of Film and Wine (in collaboration with Salon Jeruzalem), Grossmann Film and Wine Hiking Tour, and a presentation of film and wine at the Cannes International Film Festival.
