Accepting entries in all categories, including Animation, Short Drama, Experimental, Feature, Documentary, Outdoor, Commercial, Audio and Scriptwriting. Official Selections and past favorites will be shown at the Courtyard Gallery and other Asheville, NC venues. *Deadline for 2012 is March 31st (postmarked) and April 30th extended deadline (postmarked).Last Deadline is May 15th (received)
Festival takes place in the River Arts District of Asheville, NC at the Phil Mechanics Building, 109 Robets, May 25th, 26th and 27th.

IN THE PALACE is an International festival dedicated to short films under 45 minutes in length. It is held annualy
in the late June in the Black Sea town of Balchik. Established in 2003,
the festival had grown from a competitive forum for student films into
the largest and most prestigious short film festival in Bulgaria and the
region.
Besides the annual film competition programmes, In The Palace is
accompanied by several parallel events, special screenings, build-in
workshops, trainings and master classes, and includes a film industry
market section.
