The Festival du nouveau cinéma is opening its 41st edition on October 10 with the world premiere of La mise à l’aveugle (Small Blind) by Quebec director Simon Galiero. Camille Rewinds by French actress/director Noémie Lvovsky will close the Festival on Saturday, October 20.

The 62nd Berlin International Film Festival is opening tomorrow, February 9, 2012, with the world premiere of Benoît Jacquot's film Les adieux à la Reine. The director will be attending the gala with actors Diane Kruger, Léa Seydoux, Virginie Ledoyen, Xavier Beauvois and Noémie Lvovsky.

Last year, during the first edition of the Festival, Jury Chairman Claude Chabrol said: “The mission of Beaune International Thriller Film Festival is to underline the thriller genre, which is after all one of the most fertile and noble in cinema history, and precisely to try and find new tendencies, or suggest new directions.”
Keeping this ambition alive, the second edition of the Festival will take place from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th April 2010.
