The L.A. Comedy Shorts Film Festival, currently the largest comedy film festival in the U.S., is a four-day, non-stop celebration of comedic short films with screenings, industry panels and a red-carpet awards event. LACS was recently named one of Moviemaker Magazine's “25 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee”.
Next edition runs April 7th to 108th, 2011.
Co-founded by Boston Legal's Gary Anthony Williams, L.A. Comedy Shorts attracts heavyweights from the world of comedy, including Will Ferrell and Judd Apatow’s 'FunnyOrDie.com’, a major sponsor in 2009. Adam Carolla hosted the star-studded red carpet awards, where actor/director Bobcat Goldthwait was honored with the first annual ‘Commie’ comedy achievement award and Mark Hamill presented for best comedy screenplay.
